Paul Harvey

Paul was born in Midland in 1970 and grew up there and also spent time in Three springs when he was young. He started race riding when he was 16 but rode horses from a young age. He was apprenticed to his uncle Bob Harvey. Paul Harvey is considered one of Western Australia's finest ever jockeys having won the riders premiership a record 11 times and all major WA races on multiple occasions. He is also held in high regard throughout Australia having ridden several group one winners including the Australian Cup (Old Comrade) VRC Derby (Plastered) Goodwood Hcp (Spectrum) and SA Oaks (Irish Darling).
